The cargoer will assist in preparing China’s Tianhe module for a crewed mission.

China launched a cargo mission to its module of the space station in preparation for a new crew arriving in June.

The robotic Tianzhou 4, carried by a Long March 7 rocket, was launched from the Wenchang Satellite Launch Center of southern China’s Hainan Province at 1:56 pm EDT today (May 9). This is 1756 GMT (1:56 am local time on May 10, if you are in China).
