Elon Musk’s Lawsuit Reveals Twitter is Hiding Key Staff and Bot Numbers in $44 Billion Deal

Elon Musk’s attorneys claim that Twitter hides the identities of key employees who calculate bot numbers. This is the main sticking point for the $44 billion deal.

Musk has been frustrated by the number of spam and bot accounts on the platform. Musk’s problems with spam accounts led to him publicly pulling out of the $44billion deal after months of back-and-forth.

Musk claimed that Twitter withheld information regarding the number of bots using the platform. He then cited this as a reason to withdraw his bid.

Musk’s attorneys claimed in a termination notice that their analysis showed the percentage of fake accounts on Twitter to be \”wildly higher than the 5%\” that Twitter reported in its financial statements.
