A robot that played chess fractured the finger on its 7-year old opponent at a tournament held in Moscow last weekend.

According to the Russian state-run news agency Tass, the incident occurred after the boy hurried a robot powered by artificial intelligence. Sergey Lazarev stated that \”the robot broke the child’s finger – this is obviously bad.\”

A video of the incident that occurred during the Moscow Chess Open on Tuesday went viral after being posted by local publication Baza News.
