Researchers can now move objects with ultrasound waves using an innovative new method
This is especially useful for the robotics industry and manufacturing.
According to a press release from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, researchers use ultrasound waves to move items hands-free.
In previous studies, it was shown that objects could be manipulated using light and sound waves. The objects were usually much smaller than the wavelengths for either sound or light, or millimeters or nanometers.
